SHORT GAME GOLF COACHING IN CALGARY
Short Game Golf Coaching in Calgary
Overview
If you want to shoot the lowest scores possible for you, having a good short game is critical. We have all hit great approach shots only to miss a short birdie putt, three-putted for a very frustrating bogey and most of us have missed a 3-foot putt to miss a scoring record or to lose a dollar to a friend (golfing enemy).
Let’s change that! Let’s make your short game a strength and begin shooting some good scores, even when you don’t have your best ball striking or shooting some personal bests when you are hitting it well.
John offers personalized short game golf coaching in Calgary at the incredible short game area at the Glencoe G&CC. Contact John today to get started on making your short game the strongest part of your game.

SHORT GAME Golf Coaching in Calgary
Are you frustrated by inconsistent shots when you get close to the green? Is this leading to wasted shots and higher scores than you know you should be shooting? John’s coaching will help you make your short game a strength.
The process will start with a short game assessment with John and then a plan for addressing your biggest weaknesses with focused coaching and practice plans.
PUTTING
Learn the 3 skills needed to be a good putter – direction control, speed control and green reading. After assessing your skills, time will be spent on your stroke mechanics but most time is focused on how to practice most effectively to develop the key skills.
CHIPPING AND PITCHING
Learn John’s 3-step system for handling any shot around the green. Good technique, feel for distance control and the ability to choose the right shot for any situation within 40 yards of the green.
SAND PLAY
You may have heard that sand play is not difficult. Like many things, if you know the secrets, you can become very skilled. However, if you don’t, the sand can be very challenging.
