Elite JUNIOR ACADEMY

Welcome to the home page of one of Western Canada’s premier junior golf schools hosted at Bear Mountain Golf Academy. John Randle, is the driving force behind this world-class program. A former U.S. College golfer and Tour professional, John is uniquely qualified to train elite junior golfers and help them reach their goals. John has played and competed with many of Canada’s best professionals including Mike Weir, Ian Leggatt, Dave Barr and Richard Zokol and his 7 years on tour included 2 tournaments on the PGA Tour. John works with many Tour Professionals and they are sometimes around to offer advice to the juniors at the academy.

One of the other things that makes the Bear Mountain Golf Academy different from most Junior Golf Academies is that John personally teaches all of the programs for competitive juniors. Junior Girls who attend our school can also be taught by Lori Randle, our academy’s Lead Instructor. The programs for younger golfers are taught by members of the Bear Mountain Golf Academy staff.

The Junior Golf Academy is hosted at the Bear Mountain Resort in Victoria. You will find everything a golf school needs to provide a well-rounded instructional experience. The practice facilities are excellent and the golf course is internationally recognized.

John’s playing background includes over 50 victories in professional events. This, combined with his university degree in Psychology and a GolfPsych certification, gives John all the skills needed to work on the mental game with his students.

John is very proud of the junior program at the Bear Mountain Golf Academy. He has helped several juniors obtain golf scholarships and many more of his students have gone from the junior ranks to successful professional careers.
